This coat is made from lightweight, stretchy material that is perfect for everyday wear and created from a blend of partially plant-derived polyester and cotton-polyester thread. The accordion pleats at the sides of the waist created using the Steam Stretch* technique provide both visual beauty and functionality.
*The “Steam Stretch” technique shrinks cloth by applying hot steam in order to create unique stretch materials. Special threads shrunken with heat are woven with other threads, and then only the special thread parts shrink when the steam is applied. By only shrinking the intended parts of the piece of woven cloth, three-dimensional patterns and shapes are created and the garment is completed.
